2001년 인사동에 개관한 이화익갤러리는 2005년 전시 공간을 확장하여 현재의 송현동으로 이전하면서 본격적으로 미술계의 영향력 있는 화랑으로 발돋움하였습니다.
이화익갤러리는 국내에서 한국의 현대미술을 대표하는 중진 작가들을 중심으로 전시를 기획하고 홍보하면서 활발하게 활동하고 있으며, 창의성과 역량이 돋보이는 젊은 작가들에 대한 지속적인 관심과 발굴, 지원을 아끼지 않고 있습니다. 또한 해외 유수 갤러리들과의 교류 및 아부아비 아트 (ABU DHABI ART), 아트스테이지싱가폴 (ART STAGE SINGAPORE), 스코프 바젤 (SCOPE Basel), 아트14 런던 (ART14 London) and 한국국제아트페어 (KIAF)와 같은 각종 국제아트페어의 지속적인 참가, CHRISTIE'S, Sotheby's 등 해외 유명 옥션의 참여를 통해 국내 작가들의 해외 진출 기회를 확대함으로써 세계 미술 시장의 흐름에 발빠르게 동참하고 있습니다.
이화익갤러리는 축척된 전문지식과 실질적인 경험을 바탕으로 지속적으로 한국의 현대 미술을 홍보하고 이를 통해 미술계의 발전에 기여하고자 하는 노력을 계속해 오고 있으며,국내 미술계 발전에 이바지함은 물론 생활 속 미술 문화를 확대하는데 집중할 것입니다.
